California is home to many, and I mean MANY, gorgeous lavender fields!
I created this list of California Lavender Fields based on whether or not they were open to the public, and if they held special events throughout the season.
I wanted to make it easy for you to find a lavender farm you can actually visit, whether you're looking to spend a quiet morning clipping your own bundle, planning a dreamy photo shoot, or attending a full-blown lavender festival with food trucks and live music.
Some of these spots are tucked into the foothills, others are nestled along the Central Coast, and a few are just a short drive from major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
Wherever you are in California, there’s likely a field not too far away that’s blooming with color, scent, and charm.

Peak bloom occurs in June and early July, with many farms closing their fields between July 10th and July 20th.
I linked all the farms Instagram accounts so you can check to see what their lavender status is!
