Summer and Benjamin’s Mammoth Maternity Photoshoot was an absolute dream come true as someone who spent many years visiting Mammoth but never having a photoshoot there.
We had originally planned to have their session the day before, but a strong rainstorm came through, forcing us to change our plans. But things could not have worked out any better.
Because of the rainstorm, the sky was filled with beautiful puffy clouds that stuck around for a gorgeous sunset.
We started the session at Convict Lake, and I was delighted to see so many people swimming in the crystal clear lake and enjoying the nice weather.
Afterward we moved to the Hot Creek area, which is a place I remember visiting as a child!
We found the most perfect overlook, and despite the wind, took some of the most beautiful photos there.
As the sun set we moved to another spot near the Hot Creek and took advantage of the beautiful clouds and dramatic wind.
